So I know i ended the last blogpost with the promise of "brittish bangers", and i know you're wondering "yo, what da eff are 'brittish bangers' anyway? aren't they some nasty meat-dish from the UK or something?" ... And to that, i answer yes; yes they are. but MY DEFINITION is as follows: |

Brittish Banger (Song Genre): A "bumpin" song with heavy 4/4 drum-line (typically with a syncopated double beat on the 4th count) and a wacky clap-like noise accompanying said drumbeat. Melody can range from whistles (similar to brazilian "anthem songs") to beeps and moogy style sounds.
...so, as promised "brittish bangers"! turn the bass up and "boom-shaka-boom" along with them!

OK OK so,that was fun, no? Anyway on my musical journey i randomly stumbled upon an "experimental french electronic" group titled "Lemaitre" or something. Don't really know much about them (apparently they're a duo) but i really dig their sound, so listen! (personally, i feel they have a very "UK Parkour Video" sound, haha)

Aaaaaaaaaaaand finally, BONUS TIME! i normally don't really like DnB (Drum and Bass for all those acronym n00bs), but i guess this can be the exception :] These two songs by Netsky (prominent DnB artist featured in many a Chase Armitage video) really sparked a bit o' curiosity and peaked my interest in the genre as a whole... maybe i'll look into it...
